"We've already had to suspend them."
"The class is becoming unmanageable."
"Our staff are exhausted, and we don't know what to try next."
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.
When behaviour becomes a daily challenge, it affects everyone. The child is struggling to cope, staff wellbeing is under pressure, classmates lose valuable learning time, and leaders are left making difficult decisions with very little time to think.
My role is to help you understand what's happening and create a practical way forward.
Behaviour isn't random. It's often communicating a need, an overwhelmed nervous system, anxiety, frustration, exhaustion, hunger, or a learning task that feels impossible.
The difficulty is that behaviour doesn't come with subtitles.
Unpicking the reasons behind it takes time, experience and a fresh pair of eyes. That's where I can help.
Every school is different, so every package is bespoke. Support may include:
You'll receive clear, realistic recommendations tailored to your child, your staff and your school.
For over 20 years I've worked with children and young people with the most complex needs across mainstream, specialist and alternative provision.
As a Local Authority Behaviour Support Advisory Teacher, I supported schools with children at risk of suspension, permanent exclusion and placement breakdown. I've also helped many pupils successfully transition back into mainstream education, while supporting others through carefully planned moves to more appropriate settings when needed.
My approach is relational, neuroscience-informed and grounded in the realities of school life. It has to work in a busy classroom, not just on paper.
If you have a child you're worried about, you don't have to wait until the next suspension.
Book a free 30-minute consultation and we'll talk through the situation together. If I'm the right person to help, I'll explain how we can build a bespoke plan for your school.
Helping children belong. Supporting staff to thrive. Creating classrooms where everyone can learn.
